Livingston County Emergency Operations Plan

As Livingston County Commissioners, we are responsible for administering county government, including the development of an annual county budget and appointing County residents to numerous boards and committees which administer taxpayer funds.

We are also responsible for developing policies in regard to personnel, building and grounds maintenance, floodplain management and emergency management and general duties related to a third class township county.

In addition the Commission oversees the road and bridge department, planning and zoning and maintains all County buildings, property and equipment. The departments under the direction of the County Commission are:

The Presiding Commissioner is elected by voters county-wide.
